Would you like to help shape the environmental agenda for the Charlotte Mecklenburg region, our state and our nation? What about becoming active in environmental education, projects and programs? If so, you’ll want to join and become active in the Central Piedmont Conservation and Advocacy Committee

Conservation/Advocacy Committee Mission

(1) Monitor environmental issues at the local, state and national level;
(2) Advocate for laws and regulations to protect the environment;
(3) Monitor enforcement of environmental laws and regulations;
(4) Educate our members and the community on conservation issues; and
(5) Support the mission and guiding principles of the Sierra Club.
