Aqua NC Wants to Increase Your Water Bill
Aqua NC has filed a rate increase proposal with the North Carolina Utilities Commission (NCUC).
If approved, it would be a 19% rate increase to Aqua NC’s residential customers.
Can you afford to pay more? AARP North Carolina is asking you to tell the North Carolina Utilities Commission to stand up for consumers by keeping rates affordable and improving the quality of the water services we need.
You have an opportunity to let your voice be heard at the next North Carolina Utilities Commission public hearing in Charlotte. Tell the NCUC about your experience with Aqua NC’s services, and if you can afford to pay higher water bills.
