This year’s fracking fight is coming to a close – and we don’t know how it will end. Everyone is waiting to see if Governor Perdue will veto the fracking bill currently sitting on her desk. The Governor has until midnight on Sunday to make her decision and your letter or phone call to the Governor could make all the difference.

Tell the Governor to veto the fracking bill today.
We know that we’ve already asked you to contact your legislator about fracking, and like so many others, you stepped up to the plate. Before this is all over, we’ll likely have to ask you to contact them again. But with constant threats to our water and air, it’s advocates like you who make the difference.
Please step up again and tell the Governor to veto S 820.
We don’t know what will happen if fracking is allowed in North Carolina. But if we can learn anything from other states, our water resources and communities are going to be far worse off than they are now.
Send a message to Governor Perdue today and tell her to protect our drinking water.
