As promised, our July Central Piedmont meeting was a very good one! We had almost 50 people turn out for pizza and sodas (thanks Erica and Steve!) followed by some informative updates from our Committee Chairs. We even had a guest, David Merryman from the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation, join us for an update on their coal ash work (the Sierra Club is a lead environmental group for the Charlotte EPA Coal Ash hearings).
