Upcoming Muddy Water Watch Trainings Planned for Hickory, Fort Mill, North Mecklenburg County, and Pineville
CRF is offering a 4-session class on how ordinary citizens can help enforce the erosion and sedimentation control rules. Our next round of trainings will be held in Hickory at Lenoir Rhyne College beginning on Saturday February 21st from 9:30 to 11:30. Classes will be held on February 21, 28, March 7, and 14 in room 222 of Minges Hall. There will be opportunities once a week to make a visit to a construction site with a sedimentation expert. Classes will begin on April 9 in northern Mecklenburg County (6:30-8:30 p.m.), May 5 in Ft. Mill (6:30-8:30 p.m.), and June 4 in the Pineville area (6:30-8:30 p.m.). The Ft. Mill class will focus on South Carolina rules and regulations. The Pineville area class will address regulations in both North Carolina and South Carolina, and the other classes will focus on North Carolina rules and regulations.

Join CRF for Clean Water Lobby Day in Raleigh
Join us on March 24, 2009 in Raleigh, NC to voice your support of Clean Water Lobby Day! This is a day to voice your support of sound legislation protecting our water resources. Clean Water Lobby Day will focus on comprehensive water supply allocation legislation.
Additionally, with the successful kickoff of the statewide Muddy Water Watch (MWW) initiative in North Carolina, we will voice our support for our locally delegated regulators and their authorities.
